The cemetery complex in Všechovice was created in 1926–1927 according to the design of local native Bohuslav Fuchs. The cemetery is located on the northeastern edge of the village, in open countryside on a gentle southern slope. Its ground plan has the form of a symmetrically composed irregular polygon with a rectangular layout, which highlights a clearly articulated spatial order. The entire cemetery complex, including the morgue, is designed as a unified architectural unit with consistently applied principles of geometry, axial composition and moderate monumentalization. The main axis, leading from the entrance to the centrally located stone cross and the enclosing wall, structures the space and underlines its symbolic significance. The architectural composition is consciously oriented towards the panorama of the Hostýnské vrchy hills, which becomes an integral part of the perception of the complex. Grassy areas with limited, mostly secondary planting of trees strengthen the legibility of the spatial concept and the reverent character of the place. The cemetery in Všechovice is one of the extraordinary realizations of early functionalist funerary architecture in the Czech environment.
